MEGANTARA!? Kilau Budaya Sinari Nusantara !

HELLO FRIENDS! HOW ARE YOU?! BACK AGAIN WITH ME. Based on my promise in the pervious post, so now i'm going to share to you guys about an event, a big event that my school held. This is an annual event for general people so y'all can come to see me. I mean to see how amazing  this event (but it's too late). This event was held in last Saturday ( 9/10/16) in Bali Field.

Megantara is the third culture festival that 3 Senior Highschool Bandung held before Matswapati (2014) and Gamarvani (2015) after 7 years of vacuum. I came to Gamarvani that year, with my junior highschhool friend. My parents allowed me to join the event because it was held by 3 Senior Highschool, if it wasn't, my parents would't let me join this event, cause 3 SHS is part of my dreams, and who knows because i join this event a can study at 3 senior highshool :p. <-(and this become real, super happy)  Gamarvani was amazing there were HIVI! and Adera as a guest star. And it's also important with who you came to make it more amazing:).

Because Megantara is a culture festival of course the theme of this event is culture, indonesian culture, from Sabang until Merauke. To bring back the culture, to lift up the culture and to preserve the culture. Because nowadays our culture have been sinked by the technology. We have to admit it that we prefer to play in our gadget than a traditional game, feel strange and don't like if wearing traditional clothes, use technology more than traditional thing. So here, this event would make you fall in love again with our lovely culture.

There were kind of performance stage. To perform our internal extracurricular and we also invite some groups to perform traditional culture like traditional dance and music. And there was also a fashion show that showing the traditional clothes from each region of Indonesia. And of course the most important thing is the guest star, there was The Changcurters and  RAN. Beside that, there were also some culinary and games. There were some stand that shown the culture of each island in  Indonesia. There were Java Island, Sumatra Island, Kalimantan Island, Sulawesi Island, and Papua Island. In Java Island we could try to played gamelan and make batik or membatik. In Papua Island you can paint your face. There is also some games like ghost house and traditional game in each stand.

Because i'm not one of the committee so i must participate at the parade. 7 o'clock i'm in the Bali Field wore kebaya (traditional clothes from sunda) and samping. Then with kindergarten children we walked from Lapangan Bali to Taman Lalulintas and to Aceh Street, Merdeka Street, to Jawa Street and go back to Lapangan Bali to promote Megantara. At the street shadung didn't intentional stepped on the box that have spoiled milk in it then the milk flew to izul's face. Fortunately, izul's house is not far. It is across the Lapangan Bali. So he could wash and change his clothes quick. The parade ended at 9 o'clock and the open gate was at 11.35 so i had to wait. I changed my clothes and search for breakfast at BIP after that went back to Lapangan Bali. Before i must into a long antre so i got in. Before that i got my body and my bag checked then i got a stamp on the right hand.

Because i didn't have any job and it was too hot to watched the performance in the front of the stage so i ended up with watched over the red food truck and served the buyer with Desi and Firda while watching to the performance. There was a performance from KPA, Darul Hikam, RLSS, Bali's dance, and other. It was amazing. While waiting to the guest star i bought some meal from the festival and played some games there. And after ashar prayer i met my junior high school friends hihihi so happy to met them again. I really regret to not join the operc (open requirement) of being the committee  but not that much cause i could spend my time at this event with my junior high school sweetheart;).

At 3.30 it was time to fashion show. My class had Sylva with Bali's traditional costume, Amanda with West Java's traditional costume, and Tika with West Sumatra's traditional costume as our delegation. after that the Mayor of Bandung city, Kang Emil announced the winner of the fashion show and gave a prize. The winner was the boy with his Papua's traditional costume.

Then it was time to the performance that i had been waiting for, T'ST! such amazing performance still amazed like when i first watched them in Gamarvani. I really enjoy it from the beginning until end of the show. Then time for The Changcurters perform. They really energy OMG with their Racun, London and other hahaha so fun to watched them. After that there were a performance from OSD ITB. Then which we all had waited... the guest star of the top of the event... RAN.... they all really great. Rayi, Nino, and Asta successed make the audience got freak over them. Especially when they invited a girl to the stage. All girls shout 'me' 'akuuu' 'sayaaa' 'guee donggg' haha LOL. And this was the end of the event it was really amazing, i hurriedly left the stage cause i can't stand to stood anymore. My foot was so freaking sore after all the time stood and jumped. What an amazing night!
